Current initiatives to implement EM, ER or Vessel Monitoring Systems include South Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico commercial fisheries and the highly-migratory species (HMS) pelagic longline fishery, as well as for-hire fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico, South Atlantic, and Mid-Atlantic.
