Developing Electronic Monitoring Programs and Engaging Stakeholders

On October 11th, Jeremy Crawford, executive director of Seafood & Fisheries Emerging Technologies (SAFET), hosted a panel discussion at the Asia-Pacific Fishery Improvement Project Community of Practice (FIP CoP) workshop, held in an online webinar. The discussion, “Developing Electronic Monitoring Programs and Engaging Stakeholders,” was part of the overall workshop theme, Electronic Monitoring, and Traceability for Small Scale Fisheries.

The panel included experts from The Nature Conservancy, Key Traceability, PEW Charitable Trusts, and Integrated Monitoring discussing the development, implementation, and lessons learned of EM programs in the region.
