UPDATED: SAFET ’26 in Cebu, Philippines

We have been hard at work and are thrilled to share the updated details for the 2026 SAFET Conference.

High-level themes for each day:

• Day 1 – Tuesday, September 8: Responsible fisheries and governance
• Day 2 – Wednesday, September 9: Market dynamics and fair value
• Day 3 – Thursday, September 10: Livelihoods and coastal communities

New this year:

• Lightning demos showcasing different technologies across various stages of development
• Roundtables highlighting diverse industry voices
• Fireside chats featuring expert deep-dives into technologies that are already making a difference

Reminders about registration:

• The discounted registration rate of $250 ends April 30. Prices increase to $350 on May 1. Register here.
• Please note: If you are a government representative, small-scale fisher, coastal community representative, RFMO representative, science or academic, or a local Philippines NGO, you may be eligible for discounted registration. Please email conference@safet.fish before registering for more information.
