Biography
Mei-Chin Juan is a Social Responsibility Coordinator at Ocean Outcomes, where she supports initiatives under the Electronic Monitoring and Connectivity for Crews at Sea project focused on improving labor conditions, responsible fisheries management, and worker engagement in global seafood supply chains. Drawing on experience across both the public and private sectors of Taiwan’s fisheries industry, Mei-Chin has spent the past decade working closely with squid and saury vessels, longliners, and purse seiners, with particular expertise in fisheries compliance, fleet management, and RFMO processes. Her work bridges practical industry operations and the implementation of international best practices and supports cross-sector collaboration. Mei-Chin brings a practical perspective to advancing social responsibility in fisheries.
