Biography
Marlon is a member of the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission, with 10 years tuna purse-seine fishery observer experience, and 20 years as part of the scientific staff in the IATTC headquarters. He has developed data collection field forms and species identification guides for observers on board tuna purse-seine vessels operating in the eastern Pacific Ocean. He’s currently working with the IATTC electronic monitoring team, exploring the use of EM of tuna purse-seine vessel activities and catches.
