Biography
Fran Karp has worked with the government to collect and disseminate protected and sensitive data since 2003. In 2012 she co-founded Harbor Light Software and currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer. Working closely with the fishing community, Harbor Light builds cross platform mobile applications including eTRIPS mobile, Dockside APAIS, and eDR- Dealer reporting. These applications are used by commercial and for hire fishermen to report to the ACCSP and NOAA. Karp ensures that the end user fishermen has a voice in the development of mandated catch and effort applications.
