AST MSL have extensive experience in providing a complete “build to order” or turnkey fishery project management services to offer an extensive range of vessel monitoring solutions tailored for artisanal, inshore fleets through to commercial fishing vessels using cellular, satellite or a combination of both carriers. This VMS device capability is complemented by an advanced shore side VMS application offering vessel monitoring, alerts, remote diagnostics and over the air configurable upgrades for specific marine protected areas. Our portfolio includes a wide range of catch reporting tools from a simple to use SMART phone catch effort reporting apps (Android iOS compatible) through to an EU approved commercial Electronic Log Book application with shore side Elog server for extensive effort analysis and reporting. We can offer support and training locally on site not only on our range of services but by very experienced UK trained ex Marine Management Organisation Fisheries Officers on the latest good practices for setting up a vessel license schemes, developing a sustainable and enforceable fisheries management policy balancing the needs of the industry and environment.
