Biography

Amy Martins is the Branch Chief for the Fisheries Sampling Branch at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole Massachusetts, for the National Marine Fisheries Service. She oversees the Northeast Fisheries Observer Program (NEFOP), the At-Sea Monitoring Program, and the Industry-Funded Scallop Observer Program. These programs deploy observers on commercial fishing vessels along the Northeastern US from Maine through North Carolina.
