Biography
As a Masters of Technology student, my research project is focused on fisheries sustainability, with an emphasis on the use of technology to support fisheries monitoring and management objectives, including protected species bycatch reduction. In particular, I'm currently exploring opportunities to try and automate the identification of seabird interactions in EM footage from longline fisheries using machine learning and computer vision.
