The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance, in partnership with the Maine Coast
Fishermen’s Association, The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and fishermen from the Fixed Gear Sector, Northeast Fishery Sectors XI, V, & III, Maine Coast Community Sector, Northeast Coastal Communities Sector, and Sustainable Harvest Sector, is issuing this Request for Proposals to obtain the services of an electronic monitoring provider to refine and implement an audit-based electronic monitoring (EM) plan in accordance with 50 CFR 648.87(b)(4) Provider Standards issued by the National Marine Fisheries Service for a subset of up to 35 vessels in the New England groundfish fishery. The Alliance has secured grant funding to continue and expand the existing EM Audit Model Pilot Program in 2019-20.
