Biography
Álvaro is the Product Manager of Zunibal’s electronic monitoring (EM) solution. Zunibal is a technology company with over 30 years of experience, present in more than 45 countries, and dedicated to developing advanced technological solutions for sustainable fishing and marine monitoring. He leads a multidisciplinary team with expertise in technology and marine sciences, responsible for the design and implementation of EM solutions for both industrial and small-scale fisheries. Under his leadership, Zunibal works closely with governments, vessel owners, scientists, and NGOs, providing innovative tools tailored to the specific characteristics of each fishery and the needs of local communities.
